PRIMARY DUTIES: The Industrial Mobile Mechanic will play a critical role in ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and safety of mobile assets within the mill by ensuring assets are maintained per established asset strategies and repaired effectively and efficiently when out of service. This position requires a hands-on professional capable of performing on-site mechanical repairs, diagnostics, and maintenance for mobile equipment such as forklifts, cranes, loaders, and trucks, and work in conjunction with other maintenance crafts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school certification preferred.
3 or more years automotive maintenance experience.
Strong knowledge of heavy equipment systems (hydraulic, pneumatic, diesel engines, electrical systems)
Welding and metal fabrication experience required.
Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.
Familiarity with lockout/tagout and other OSHA safety standards.
Valid driver's license.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
