About The Position

Hire Resolve is assisting mining organizations in hiring experienced industrial minerals and chemical mining professionals across the United States. This multi-role opportunity spans mining/quarrying operations, processing plants, maintenance and reliability, projects, and HSE leadership. Roles are suitable for mid- to senior-level professionals with growth potential into Plant Manager, Maintenance Manager, Operations Manager, and Site Leadership positions.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical/Process Engineering, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Metallurgy/Mineral Processing, Industrial Engineering, Safety, or related discipline (or equivalent experience for certain leadership roles)
Typically 5–12+ years in industrial minerals, processing plants, or heavy industrial operations
Strong understanding of plant safety systems, work permits/LOTO practices, and incident prevention
Familiarity with CMMS (SAP/Maximo), process data systems, reliability tools, and KPI reporting
On-site readiness and flexibility for shift/rotation depending on site needs

Responsibilities

Lead safe, efficient production across mining and processing operations (mine-to-plant integration where applicable)
Strengthen compliance with MSHA/OSHA requirements across plant and field environments
Optimize processing performance (throughput, yield/recovery, quality) using data-driven troubleshooting
Oversee maintenance and reliability programs for fixed plant equipment (conveyors, crushers, mills, dryers, pumps, instrumentation)
Drive continuous improvement (downtime reduction, energy efficiency, cost control, quality consistency)
Support projects, upgrades, turnarounds, and commissioning activities
Manage contractors/vendors and ensure safe execution of high-risk work
Maintain strong documentation and reporting for audits, inspections, and internal governance
Coach teams and implement standard work, training, and competency development
