About The Position

Chalmers & Kubeck, a family owned and operated business, is a service-oriented company seeking experienced Industrial Maintenance Mechanics to start immediately at our Aston, Pennsylvania facility. Our Mechanics are responsible for disassembling, cleaning, inspecting, and repairing bearing housings, blowers, centrifuges, fans, gear boxes, pumps, small steam turbines, vacuum pumps, and other rotating equipment.

Requirements

• High School or Equivalent
• Disassemble, clean, inspect, and repair industrial mechanical equipment such as pumps, gearboxes, turbines, compressors, etc.
• Read and Interpret Blueprints / Mechanical & Technical Drawings (preferred)
• Inspect Components using Micrometers, Calipers, Depth Micrometers, etc.
• Reliably measure to within 0.001" using Analog Micrometers
• Document As-Found Inspection Results and Complete As-Left Inspection Reports
• Competently use: Air Tools, Sandblaster, Cutting Torches, Hydraulic Presses, and Basic Hand Tools

Responsibilities

• Full-Time Position: 40 Hours per Week, Monday - Friday
• Day shift (7:30AM - 4:00PM) or Night Shift (4:00PM - 12:30AM)
• Pass Pre-Employment Drug Test and Ongoing Random Drug Testing
• Maintain a Clean Driving Record and possess a Valid Driver's License
• Willing to Undergo Criminal Background Checks
• Wear Required PPE, Fall Protection, and ALWAYS Work in a Safe Manner
• Work Overtime, as needed, to support operational objectives
• Some work may be Off-Site (Field Work) and Overnight Travel may be necessary
• Some Heavy Lifting (up to 50lbs) is required

• Hours over 40 in a Week are at 1.5 x Base Pay Rate
• Sunday or Holiday Hours are at 2.0 x Base Pay Rate
