About The Position

Inductotherm is seeking an Industrial Mechanic to build large arrays of equipment utilizing technical drawings and power hand tools. The role involves working on a job from start to finish, ensuring that all equipment is manufactured to the highest quality standards. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Technical certifications or related training.
• Ability to read measuring devices such as rulers, tape measures, squares, levels, and Vernier's.
• Ability to see, perceive, and distinguish between colors.
• Ability to stand, climb, and bend for 8-10 hours.
• Good strength to lift up to 51 lbs.
• Quick hand and arm movement to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects.
• Valid driver's license and ability to drive an automobile.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to drive an overhead crane, forklift, and electric pallet truck.
• Ability to TIG weld.

Responsibilities

• Build large arrays of equipment using technical drawings and power hand tools.
• Perform mathematical calculations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, and working with fractions.
• Read and comprehend mechanical and electrical drawings.
• Braise and MIG weld as required.
• Maintain a safe working environment for oneself and co-workers.
• Perform general housekeeping duties as required.
• Attend classes/training to improve basic skills and non-essential functions.
• Handle miscellaneous duties as assigned.
