Join our Maintenance Team in Timonium, MD as an Industrial Mechanic Technician Intern and gain hands-on experience supporting manufacturing operations. In this role, you’ll assist in maintaining and improving automated and semi-automated machinery while learning to uphold Environmental Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards. You’ll work closely with experienced technicians, Production, and Engineering teams to troubleshoot issues and contribute to machine reliability. This is an on-site internship reporting to the Maintenance Manager.

Requirements

  • High School diploma (attainment in 2026) or equivalent; enrollment in a technical or engineering program preferred.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn.
  • Ability to read manuals and technical documents (training provided).
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform standing, bending, and climbing tasks.
  • Familiarity with basic tools and PC skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Exposure to industrial or manufacturing environments.
  • Interest in hydraulics, pneumatics, electrical systems, or melt-blown operations.
  • Ability to work scheduled hours, including occasional overtime.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with installation, repair, and maintenance of machine tools and controls.
  • Support troubleshooting of hydraulics, electronics, and electrical systems under supervision.
  • Learn fabrication and machining tasks, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and piping systems.
  • Help execute preventive maintenance and document work in the AMMS system.
  • Participate in setting up, calibrating, and testing circuits, components, and mechanical assemblies.
  • Collaborate with the maintenance team and production lines to meet operational goals.
