About The Position

The purpose of this classification is to maintain and repair industrial production and processing machines, systems and components.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED or equivalent
• One (1) year of experience in industrial maintenance or a related field
• Years of related, post-high school education may substitute for years of related experience
• Valid driver's license
• All positions require drug testing and background check before employment and may require a post-job offer physical
• Positions must be accessible for on-call duty and be able to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as assigned and during emergencies

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, diagnoses, repairs, reconditions, and services all machines, systems and components
• Performs minor electrical work that does not require a license (e.g. disconnects, switch replacement, etc.)
• Maintains accurate records of inspections and work performed
• Operates equipment such as forklifts, dump trucks, backhoes and mowers
• Monitors or inspects the work of third-party contractors
• Studies blueprints or manufacturers' manuals to determine or verify correct installation or operation of machinery
• Performs related work as assigned
