About The Position

T. Baker Smith is searching for a highly motivated and experienced Industrial Measurement Survey Project Manager for our Industrial Measurement Group to lead and deliver ongoing and exciting upcoming projects out of our Corpus Christi, Texas office. Your Opportunity: Manage laser scanning and dimensional control surveying projects from kickoff through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives are met. Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, coordinating project requirements, deliverables, and expectations. Plan, schedule, and oversee field data acquisition activities, working closely with technicians and survey teams. Oversee processing of point cloud data, including registration, geo-referencing, as-built modeling, and plan preparation, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project standards. Review and approve project deliverables, drawings, and models prior to client submission. Coordinate internal resources, subcontractors, and equipment to support successful project execution. Monitor project progress, identify risks, and proactively resolve issues to keep projects on track. Support business development efforts through scope development, fee estimates, and technical input as needed. Desired Qualifications: Experience in managing Laser Scanning, Construction Surveying, or Dimensional Control Surveying projects. Dimensional Control Surveying- minimum of 5 years experience Working knowledge of point cloud processing and modeling workflows using software such as Trimble RealWorks, AVEVA LFM / Point Cloud Manager, and Leica Cyclone. Familiarity with laser scanning technologies and equipment (Faro, Z&F, Trimble) and survey instrumentation (Leica total stations). Proficiency with AutoCAD and other related design and analysis software. Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to collaborate with field and office teams and provide technical guidance when needed. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable in a fast-paced project environment. Requirements
