About The Position
The Industrial Maintenance Technician position at Westaff is an immediate opening for a dedicated individual to join our team in Wichita, KS. This role is essential for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment, which is critical to our production processes. The technician will work on the first shift from 5 am to 5 pm, providing ample opportunity to engage in a variety of maintenance tasks that are vital to our operations. In this role, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks on machinery and equipment, troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical issues, and supervising maintenance staff as needed. You will also be tasked with welding and fabricating parts, utilizing the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance activities, and conducting regular inspections to identify potential issues or areas for improvement. Reading and interpreting electrical schematics and logic controllers will also be a key part of your responsibilities, ensuring that you can effectively address any electrical concerns that arise.
