About The Position
The Industrial Maintenance Technician at Brown International Corporation is a vital role responsible for the installation, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintenance of processing equipment. This position requires hands-on repair of mechanical issues with processing machinery while working with limited supervision. The technician will perform repairs, overhauls, and preventative and predictive maintenance on equipment to ensure full customer satisfaction regarding equipment performance and service. The role also involves troubleshooting equipment problems to reduce productivity losses and implementing long-term corrective actions to avoid repeat issues. The technician must follow all standard work procedures, safety regulations, and policies to maintain a safe working environment. Flexibility is essential, as the technician may be required to work overtime, weekends, and any shift to meet business demands. Additionally, the technician must be able to work at assigned customer plants and travel to other customer plants as needed, which may include periodic domestic and international travel. This position is ideal for individuals who have experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues with processing or production machinery. The technician will be expected to communicate effectively with team members and customers, work under pressure with a high degree of professionalism and customer service, and work efficiently with little to no direct supervision or alone.
