Lifetime Products Inc., is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team in a new state of the art facility with all new equipment in Mascot (Knoxville) Tennessee. 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shifts Available.

Requirements

  • Must have excellent troubleshooting skills.
  • Must be dependable, self-starter, highly motivated, proactive, and organized.
  • Ability to multi-task, take direction, and stay calm in a high stress environment.
  • Requires a good mechanical aptitude and experience with the setup, operation, and troubleshooting of automated production machinery.
  • Valid driver's license is required and will be required to become forklift certified.
  • Ability to read, write and interpret documents such as routine reports and correspondence, safety rules, procedure manuals, and general business documents.
  • Proficient computer skills including electronic mail, record keeping and working knowledge of Microsoft Office which includes Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with plastics blow molding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform highly diversified duties in a wide variety of machine maintenance functions such as installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe and electrical systems.
  • Make sound repair decisions following the established best practices of the department, with regard to maintaining equipment function, operation, and safety.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Inspect machines and equipment to locate causes of malfunctions.
  • Dismantle machines and equipment to gain access to problem area.
  • Inspect parts to detect wear or other problems.
  • Remove and replace worn or defective parts of system.
  • Locate damaged air and hydraulic pipes on machine, and measure, cut, thread, and install new pipe.
  • Operate machines and equipment to test operation following repair.
  • Repair broken parts.
  • Assist Mechanical Engineer to modify drawings or designs.
  • Troubleshoot and understand electrical circuits, schematics, and prints.
