About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician at IPEX is responsible for ensuring the safety, quality, and continuous improvement of maintenance operations. This role involves working with various electrical, pneumatic, and electronic instruments to maintain and repair equipment, contributing to the overall efficiency of the manufacturing process.

Requirements

• 5+ years of hands-on maintenance experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Strong logical decision-making skills along with solid time management and multi-tasking skills.
• Ability to remain professional under pressure and exhibit a positive attitude.
• Exhibit a sense of ownership and accountability.
• Effective communication skills in English, both written and verbally.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety practices with excellent housekeeping and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Plastics/Extrusion processes.

Responsibilities

• Work with a variety of electrical, pneumatic and electronic instruments to measure and control variables such as pressure, flow, temperature, level, and composition.
• Calibrate, repair, maintain and adjust system components, and install and maintain instruments and controls on new or existing equipment.
• Change electric motors, water/vacuum pumps, and gear boxes as needed.
• Exhibit Plastics/Extrusion experience when applicable.
• Perform various other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
