About The Position
A growing food manufacturing company is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Syracuse, Indiana. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity on 1st shift focused on maintaining and improving production equipment to ensure safety, efficiency, and product quality.
Requirements
- Experience in industrial maintenance, preferably within food manufacturing
- Strong troubleshooting skills across mechanical, electrical, and automation systems
- Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and work in an industrial environment
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience
Nice To Haves
- Welding or fabrication experience preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems
- Support production by maintaining equipment uptime and efficiency
- Monitor control panels and automated systems
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and reports
- Coordinate with contractors and order replacement parts as needed
- Assist with process improvements and equipment upgrades
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
