About The Position

The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial equipment and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role supports production by minimizing downtime and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (technical or vocational training preferred)
  • 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (or equivalent training)
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
  • Experience with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Ability to read technical drawings and schematics
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Stand, walk, climb, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Ability to work in industrial environments (noise, heat, confined spaces)

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of PLC basics, motors, drives, and sensors (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues
  • Repair or replace motors, conveyors, pumps, gearboxes, valves, and other components
  • Diagnose equipment failures and recommend corrective actions
  • Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
  • Perform welding, fabrication, and basic machining as needed
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
  • Follow all safety procedures, lockout/tagout (LOTO), and company policies
  • Collaborate with production and engineering teams to improve equipment reliability
  • Assist with equipment installations, upgrades, and shutdowns
  • Maintain tools, spare parts inventory, and work areas in clean and safe condition
