About The Position
Industrial Maintenance Technician – 2nd Shift We are a fast-paced countertop fabrication shop seeking a skilled 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure our equipment operates safely and efficiently. Requirements
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience (manufacturing or fabrication preferred)
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical knowledge (motors, sensors, relays, VFDs, wiring)
- Proficiency with hand tools, meters, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Reliable attendance and a strong commitment to safety
- Previous experience in commercial or industrial maintenance is required
- Good mechanical aptitude
- Self-Starter that can work on their own
- Open to working 2nd shift
- Training on 1st shift
- Driver’s License
Nice To Haves
- Experience with CNC machinery or countertop/stone fabrication equipment
- Welding (MIG/TIG) and basic fabrication skills
- PLC troubleshooting experience
- Familiarity with dust collection systems and air compressors
- Forklift or lift certification
Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment used in countertop fabrication
- Perform preventative maintenance on saws, CNC machines, polishers, routers, compressors, and dust collection systems
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic issues
- Minimize downtime through efficient troubleshooting and root-cause analysis
- Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout procedures
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and parts usage
- Collaborate with production leadership to prioritize equipment needs
