About The Position

The Maintenance Technician II is a highly skilled and crucial role responsible for all facility and equipment maintenance, repair, installation, and removal. This position is also responsible for managing the on-site forklift driver's certification program and maintaining all related logs. Requirements

Proven experience in industrial facility and equipment maintenance.
Strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
Hands-on experience with preventative maintenance for production equipment and building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC).
Excellent organizational skills required for managing maintenance logs, driver certifications, and spare parts inventory.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills for managing vendor and customer relationships.
A deep, professional understanding of safety and environmental policies.
The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
Proficiency with a wide variety of hand and power tools.

Responsibilities

Perform all preventative maintenance and repair on a wide range of equipment, including but not limited to SMETCO, Palamatic, forklifts, compressors, and various production equipment.
Maintain and repair building infrastructure such as electrical systems, plumbing, lighting, and HVAC.
Manage the on-site forklift driver's certification program, ensuring all drivers are certified and their certifications are current.
Maintain all logs related to machinery and ensure all maintenance logs are current and accurate.
Adhere strictly to all safety and environmental policies and procedures at all times.
Maintain an organized inventory of spare parts to ensure minimal equipment downtime.
Manage relationships with vendors and verify the accuracy of all services and charges.
Work closely with customers to ensure that necessary reporting and reimbursable expenses are obtained on a monthly basis.
