Benefits begin the month following the hire date. Salary: The hourly wage for this position is $38.00 and varies based on specific responsibilities and geographic location. Starting hourly rate within this range will be determined based on the candidate's experience, qualifications, and/or skillset. Shift Hours:1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift is available for this position. 1st Shift: Monday - Friday 6:30am - 2:30pm 2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 2:30pm - 10:30pm +$0.65 shift differential pay 3rd Shift: Monday - Friday 10:30pm - 6:30am +$0.85 shift differential pay (Note: Training for this position will be on 3rd Shift: Sunday – Friday; 10:30pm - 6:30am + $0.85 shift differential pay during training. The training period is up to 6 months). Sign-On Bonus: $2000 paid in two installments. The first installment of $500 would be paid on the pay cycle following the employee’s completion of 30 days of employment. The remaining $1500 would be paid on the pay cycle after the employee reaches 6 months of active employment. Summary: Performs troubleshooting and repair on electrical/electronic, hydraulic, pneumatic mechanical systems. Analyzes, troubleshoots, and repairs equipment. Assist with the servicing and repairing of more complex equipment. Complies with applicable regulations and the department’s Safety program.
