About The Position

As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in maintaining and improving the operation of machinery and equipment in our manufacturing facility. Your responsibilities will include performing preventive maintenance, diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, and ensuring production runs smoothly and efficiently. Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
3+ years of experience in industrial maintenance, with expertise in mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, safety standards, and troubleshooting techniques.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, for data tracking and reporting.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical systems, including familiarity with field devices and diagnostic tools.
Analytical Thinking: Strong problem-solving skills with a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
Adaptability: Ability to manage multiple tasks and adjust to changing priorities in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
Communication Skills: Clear verbal and written communication to coordinate effectively with team members and leadership.
Safety Orientation: Commitment to maintaining a safe workplace by following established protocols and promoting a safety-first culture.

Nice To Haves

Associate degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or related field.
ARC Flash Training certification.
Familiarity with Lean/WCM principles and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
Advanced knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, VFDs, and motor controls.
Hands-on experience with rigid conduit bending, and diagnostic equipment, such as megger meters and thermal imagers.

Responsibilities

Equipment Maintenance and Repair: Conduct preventive maintenance and timely repairs on machinery, motors, conveyor systems, and electrical and mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Problem Diagnosis: Identify mechanical and electrical issues by observing equipment in operation, using precision measuring tools and diagnostic equipment, and referencing technical documentation.
Parts Replacement and Fabrication: Remove, replace, and fabricate defective parts using appropriate tools and machine shop equipment to maintain equipment functionality.
Downtime Management: Reduce production downtime by providing clear maintenance guidance to production workers and ensuring compliance with preventive maintenance techniques.
Inventory Oversight: Manage parts and supplies inventory by monitoring usage, placing orders, and verifying receipt of materials.
Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 3-phase circuits up to 480V, VFDs, solenoids, and field devices.
Documentation: Accurately record maintenance activities, time spent, and equipment conditions to ensure continuity and compliance.
Safety and Cleanliness: Ensure a safe and organized work environment by adhering to safety protocols and maintaining cleanliness.
Perform detailed diagnostics and repairs on industrial equipment using technical manuals, diagrams, and tools.
Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems, including Siemens and Allen Bradley drives, AC motors, and control devices.
Collaborate with team members to optimize equipment performance and address recurring issues.
Use advanced diagnostic tools such as multimeters, infrared thermometers, and thermal imagers to ensure precise maintenance.
Train production staff on basic maintenance practices to improve equipment uptime.
Demonstrate professionalism in all aspects of your work, including communication, collaboration, and behavior.
