Lifetime Products, Inc. is seeking Industrial Maintenance Technicians to join our team in a new state-of-the-art facility located in Mascot (Knoxville), Tennessee. This position involves performing a wide variety of machine maintenance functions, including installing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, physical structures, pipe, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems, and must possess excellent troubleshooting skills. Dependability, self-motivation, proactivity, and organizational skills are essential, as well as the ability to multitask and remain calm in high-stress environments. The role requires flexibility, as some Saturdays and overtime may be necessary based on business needs. The Industrial Maintenance Technician will be responsible for making sound repair decisions following established best practices, ensuring equipment function, operation, and safety. Responsibilities include providing emergency repairs of production equipment during production, performing scheduled maintenance, inspecting machines to locate malfunctions, dismantling equipment to access problem areas, and replacing worn or defective parts. The technician will also be required to locate damaged air and hydraulic pipes, measure, cut, thread, and install new pipes, and operate machines to test operations following repairs. Additionally, the technician will assist the Mechanical Engineer in modifying drawings or designs and must be able to troubleshoot and understand electrical circuits, schematics, and prints. Candidates must demonstrate strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a good degree of common sense. A mechanical aptitude and experience with automated production machinery setup, operation, and troubleshooting are required. Experience with plastics blow molding is a plus. A valid driver's license and a clean motor vehicle record are necessary, and candidates will be required to become forklift certified. The ability to read, write, and interpret documents such as reports, safety rules, and procedure manuals is essential, along with proficiency in computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications. The job may require lifting up to 50 pounds and adherence to safety and security policies and procedures.
