About The Position
Golden Aluminum is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team in Fort Lupton, Colorado. As a continuous casting aluminum rolling mill established in 1984, we pride ourselves on our patented casting process that supplies coiled aluminum sheet to the packaging and automotive markets. Our operations are focused on a broad range of alloys, thicknesses, and coatings, and we are committed to environmental sustainability and community engagement. Recently, we were honored to be selected by the Department of Energy to receive up to $22.3 million in investment to support our Nexcast Mini Mill and other innovative projects aimed at steering the aluminum industry towards a greener, decarbonized future. In this role, you will be responsible for the day-to-day and long-term maintenance of our complex foundry and mill equipment in an industrial manufacturing environment. Your duties will include performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairing, adjusting, and rebuilding industrial production machinery and supporting equipment. You will also operate mobile equipment such as forklifts, skid steer loaders, shop cranes, scissor lifts, and articulating man lifts as required to perform maintenance duties. It is essential to interpret safety and work instructions, both verbal and written, to understand the required specifications for maintenance tasks. We offer a competitive salary starting at $28 per hour, depending on qualifications, along with a quarterly bonus of up to $1,000.
