Requirements

• General industrial mechanical maintenance and/or electrical system experience preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Must be able to complete a post-offer physical examination successfully in accordance with the position's functional capacity requirements.
• Will be required to work in elevated areas above 4 feet.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and wear fall protection as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Provide mechanical support service in response to operational changes resulting from malfunction, breakdown, relocation, replacement, or other modification of existing mechanical systems and/or equipment.
• Assist the maintenance team and support all aspects of the maintenance department as needed or directed.
• Complete maintenance work orders accurately and on time.
• Perform emergency equipment repairs alone and/or with the assistance of other IMTs.
• Perform preventive maintenance on plant equipment and machinery.
• Work in accordance with quality, safety, and sanitation standards, as well as quality policies and guidelines.
• Ability to work in a team-based environment.
