About The Position

Join the team that keeps Lineage running efficiently and safely! At Lineage, our Maintenance Technicians play a key role in keeping our facilities operating smoothly. In this role, you’ll work with a variety of systems: mechanical, electrical, and refrigeration (including ammonia) to help maintain, repair, and improve the equipment that powers our cold storage operations.

Requirements

• 3+ years of mechanical experience maintaining motorized lifts, warehouse, processing, or manufacturing equipment (or a combination of experience and trade school).
• 2+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration (ammonia, Freon, and/or CO₂).
• Experience with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills—you’ll work closely with both technical and non-technical team members.
• Computer proficiency, especially in Word and Excel.
• Ability to lift 40 lbs (18 kg) and work in various temperature environments—from -20°F in cold storage to 100°F in dry storage (with provided PPE).
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends if needed.
• Commitment to safety and following all company and regulatory standards.
• Successful completion of Refrigeration Operator I (CARO) or equivalent certification within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, and building systems—including plumbing, electrical, and refrigeration (ammonia).
• Perform routine inspections, testing, and preventive maintenance to keep refrigeration systems running safely and efficiently.
• Troubleshoot and repair motors, wiring, and electrical or electronic components according to electrical codes and standards.
• Maintain and repair building infrastructure and material-handling equipment.
• Accurately complete daily work orders and log all tasks in our computerized maintenance management system (CMMS).
• Communicate maintenance updates, inspection results, and equipment needs with your team and leadership.
• Support outside contractors as needed to ensure safety standards are met.
• Safely operate motorized lifts and other equipment for inspections and maintenance.
