Industrial Maintenance Technician II - Weekend 2nd Shift Friday - Sunday Work Schedule Our Industrial Maintenance Technicians provide services to ensure that equipment, machinery, and facilities are kept in optimal condition to prevent breakdowns, minimize downtime, extend their lifespan, and ensure safe and efficient operation. They are responsible for safely and effectively troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining operations and production equipment at a pace that meets production demands. All Maintenance positions support operations and production.

Requirements

Work Experience: 3 years of Industrial Maintenance experience
Computer Skills: PLC's, CMMS, Microsoft Office
Cross-functional skills: Ability to complete multiple job assignments including machine operation, fabrication, welding, read PLC logic.
Physical, Mental and Visual Skills: Ability to lift 100 pounds, walk, stand, bend and twist, climb ladders, work from elevated positions, operate fork, scissor and boom lifts, ability to see up close, in color and adjust focus, read schematics and blueprints.
Physical Environment: Fast-paced manufacturing environment, ability to tolerate a variable climatereferred Requirements:

Concrete - Experience pouring and finishing concrete
Basic Fabrication - Ability to weld or experience with basic metal fabrication
Overhead Doors - Experience diagnosing/resolving issues with overhead doors
Rigging - Experience rigging and moving equipment with a boom
Multimeter - Experience with a meter or other electrical test equipment
Repair - Education/Experience with machine operation and repair
Mechanical - Experience with servicing pneumatic compressors
Conveyors - Experience servicing overhead conveyor systems
Coating - Experience servicing coating or blasting systems
Programmable Logic Control - Education/Experience servicing programmable logic systems

Responsibilities

Use hand tools, power tools, and welders to perform preventative maintenance and moderately complex repairs of production and processing equipment as well as utility related equipment, following all safety procedures.
Maintain and repair buildings' plumbing, HVAC, air compressors, boilers, fire systems and electrical systems, including replacing worn or defective parts such as switches and fuses.
Ensure all repairs are documented in the CMMS.
Responsible for adhering to Lippert core values, safety guidelines, and lean initiatives
Adhere to and promote all safety policies and procedures including, but not limited to the proper handling of hazardous waste, lock out/tag out program and hearing and eye protection policies.
Required to request support, as necessary, from other Maintenance Technicians and Maintenance leadership.
Assist with the installation of new equipment and participate in reviewing safety prior to it going live.
Assist the machine operators with training and moderately complex troubleshooting to minimize equipment downtime.
