About The Position

We are looking for an Industrial Maintenance Tech for an established manufacturer in the Jacksonville, FL area who will perform maintenance tasks of great variety such as installation, preventative maintenance, testing, troubleshooting and more. The ideal candidate will be able to work autonomously and responsibly by observing all health and safety guidelines.

Requirements

• Proven experience as maintenance technician
• Basic understanding of electrical and mechanical principles
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances, and devices
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
• Able to lift 50 pounds unassisted
• Good physical condition and strength with a willingness to work overtime
• Fluency in English is required
• All candidates must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and be willing to submit to a national background check

Nice To Haves

• Certification as an Electrician or Mechanic is preferred

Responsibilities

• Ensure optimum performance of systems in facility
• Perform installation and testing of systems
• Inspect equipment for issues
• Troubleshooting and documentation of issues
• Perform upgrades and improvements to machinery
• Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
• Comply with audit guidelines, GMP regulations, and other quality standards
• Work safely with attention to LOTO guidelines and other sagely precautions
