About The Position

Industrial Maintenance Mechanic (Food Processing) Picture a 12-hour shift on a 2-2-3 schedule in Frederick, MD—either greeting the morning at 6am or keeping production humming through the night until 6am. You arrive to an established food production facility, step onto the floor, and take ownership of keeping high-speed lines safe, reliable, and on-spec. What your day looks like Diagnose and maintain mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems across the plant. Troubleshoot Allen Bradley PLCs to pinpoint issues and restore uptime. Interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to plan and execute precise repairs. Service and replace AC/DC motors and VFDs to stabilize and optimize performance. Repair and fine-tune ovens, mixers, and conveyors—core to our food manufacturing process. Perform light welding and fabrication to keep equipment safe and production-ready. About the role Location: Frederick, MD Shifts: 1st or 3rd (2-2-3 schedule) — 6am–6pm or 6pm–6am Compensation: $38–$48 per hour Benefits: 401(k), Healthcare, Vision, Dental, PTO, and Life Assurance Industry: Food Production What you bring 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing; food production or processing experience preferred. Strong understanding of hydraulics, mechanical systems, and industrial electrical systems. Experience with machine configuration, teardown/rebuild, and preventive maintenance programs. PLC troubleshooting knowledge (Allen Bradley preferred). Requirements

  • 3+ years of hands-on maintenance experience in manufacturing; food production or processing experience preferred.
