Requirements

  • Minimum of three years of Industrial Maintenance experience
  • High School Diploma or GED required; vocational/technical coursework preferred
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Basic welding and electrical skills
  • Maintain technical knowledge by attending trainings when available.
  • Intermediate level computer skills (Microsoft Office, e-mail)
  • Ability to work individually and with a high performing team.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analyses, and take corrective action to resolve problems on equipment such as high-speed packaging machinery (fillers, cappers, case packers, palletizers, pallet wrappers, and case sealers).
  • Repair and rebuild spare parts,and fabricate replacement parts using machine shop equipment.
  • Provide support for Technical Operators and act as a resource for Packaging teams.
  • Perform Preventative Maintenance tasks, including providing input on task frequency, process, part analysis. In addition to upskilling team members.
  • Utilize digital tools such as iPads, apps, and maintenance software to review, create, and close work orders, report defects, and order parts. Prepare and send daily technical summary emails documenting maintenance activities and support provided during the shift.
  • Manage self-directed projects from inception to completion; must be able to work as part of a team but can complete tasks on their own
