Company/Location Overview Iron Bull Distillery , located in Halethorpe, Maryland, is proud to be part of the Sazerac Company. We offer a positive work environment, competitive pay and benefits, and a strong commitment to work-life balance. We’re currently seeking Maintenance Technicians to join our team. The plant operates on a 4-day workweek schedule, Monday through Thursday and occasional Fridays. This would be a night shift opening 5:00pm-3:00am Job Description/Responsibilities What Will You Be Doing? Job Description The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the bottling equipment; this includes completing preventative maintenance tasks, assisting the production technicians with breakdowns and new installations as necessary.
Requirements
- 3+ years of prior Maintenance or Mechanic work experience required
- Ability to work 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, on either day or night shift with overtime on Fridays as necessary
- Days: 7:00am-5:00pm
- Nights: 5:00pm-3:00am
- Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues
- Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations
Nice To Haves
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred
- Associate's or technical degree, preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD)
- Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing your strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
- Identify and resolve PLC-related problems, utilizing your PLC troubleshooting skills
- Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
- Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
- Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs
- Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
