About The Position

PABCO® Gypsum, a division of PABCO® Building Products LLC, has provided quality gypsum board products and service for over 35 years. PABCO® Gypsum supplies a complete line of gypsum products for commercial and residential construction. The Newark, CA plant is currently accepting resumes for an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic . This position is responsible for general maintenance technician with mechanical and minor electrical skills.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Two (2) or more years related experience and/or training.
• Regular attendance is required
• Lift and/or move 60 pounds and more
• Must have open availability
• Weekend availability is required.

Responsibilities

• Understanding and knowledge of complex, pneumatic and/or hydraulic processes.
• Perform routine and schedule maintenance on process equipment to maintain uptime.
• Fabrication as needed.
• Perform inventory existing parts and report use for reorder.
• Maintain work area according to plant standard for safety, efficiency and cleanliness.
• Abides by all safety rules set forth by company and government regulatory agencies and ensure that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
• All other tasks and/or responsibilities as assigned.
