The Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining the bottling equipment; this includes completing preventative maintenance tasks, assisting the production technicians with breakdowns and new installations as necessary. The plant operates on a 4-day workweek schedule, Monday through Thursday and occasional Fridays.

  • Perform regular maintenance and repairs on manufacturing equipment, programmable logic controllers (PLC), and variable frequency drives (VFD)
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical issues with machinery, utilizing strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
  • Identify and resolve PLC-related problems, utilizing PLC troubleshooting skills
  • Conduct machine safety inspections to ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols
  • Collaborate with other team members to develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
  • Assist in the installation and commissioning of new equipment
  • Maintain accurate documentation of maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment logs
  • Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
  • 3+ years of prior Maintenance or Mechanic work experience required
  • Ability to work 10-hour shift, Monday through Thursday, on either day or night shift with overtime on Fridays as necessary
  • Demonstrated mechanical troubleshooting skills to diagnose and repair machinery issues
  • Knowledge of machine safety inspections and adherence to safety regulations
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment, preferred
  • Associate's or technical degree, preferred
