  • Perform all maintenance functions, including preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on all buildings and grounds and all plant machinery and equipment.
  • Perform diagnostic evaluation on equipment and make repairs when needed.
  • Ensure that repairs are performed properly in the shortest amount of time possible to maintain the highest level of operational readiness.
  • Perform routine, preventive, corrective, and scheduled maintenance on a variety of machinery within the plant.
  • Perform light electrical maintenance on all plant equipment.
  • Assist Facility/Maintenance Manager by performing general work or other assignments necessary to ensure a safe, clean, healthy, and efficient facility.
  • Document results through completed work orders or in a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Stay current on all required safety training.
  • Share time to be on-call and ready to complete emergency or urgent repairs outside of normally scheduled shift.
  • 2+ years of experience and/or training in maintenance.
  • Experience with the performance of Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) and permit confined space programs.
  • Possession of boiler, welding, or electrical certification or license is helpful.
  • Demonstrates the ability to ask questions and gather information to identify problems.
  • Demonstrates the ability to think critically and remain calm during stressful situations.
  • Capable of working collaboratively in teams and alone.
  • Capable of providing feedback and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Experience with forklifts, aerial-lifts, and various rigging equipment.
