In this hands-on role, you’ll troubleshoot, repair, and maintain critical industrial systems, including plumbing, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure. You’ll play a key part in keeping our facility running smoothly by performing preventative and predictive maintenance while ensuring all systems operate at peak efficiency. Requirements

  • High School Diploma/GED/Technical School Education or equivalent work experience
  • 3+ Years of Work Experience in an Industrial Environment and/or 3+ Years of Trade Experience (Mechanical, HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing, Controls)
  • Experience in Fabrication / Machine Shop
  • Experience with hand and power tools
  • Lock-Out Tag-Out Training and Experience
  • Computerized Maintenance Management System Experience (CMMS)
  • Basic Job required tools
  • Flexible schedule with call in responsibilities
  • Good computer skills (Microsoft Office, database and internet-based programs)

Responsibilities

  • Execute facilities start-up routines
  • Monitor status readouts of primary systems and take appropriate actions to ensure safety and reliability. Examples include water PH adjustment systems, filter press cleaning, amperage draw of motors and ovens.
  • Contributes to production efficiency by responding to maintenance calls as assigned, and either repairs or defers action to supervisor for decision.
  • Capable of executing basic troubleshooting and repairs of electro-mechanical systems like AC/DC motors and drives, sensors, valves, hoists, PLC’s and general industrial equipment used in a manufacturing environment.
  • General facilities maintenance tasks pertaining to plumbing, welding, lighting, painting, light carpentry, etc.
  • Completing special project action items by assigned dates and priorities. Examples are installation of new equipment, infrastructure upgrades, equipment modifications and improvements.
  • Interactions with CMMS system to document work executed, time, spare parts usage, place orders for parts.
  • Executing Scheduled Preventative Maintenance and Unscheduled Maintenance in compliance with safety guidelines and procedures.
  • Accommodating shifting schedules and overtime as needed to meet the needs of the business. Examples of this are providing support to production overtime and plant shut downs.
  • Support plant initiatives conducive to a safe, secure and clean workplace
