This facility operates six days a week and produces sausage crumbles and dry sausage. Leveling (pay) is determined during the interview process based on skillset, knowledge, and experience. We are offering a $5000 sign on bonus for new hires. The bonus is paid out in $2500 following completion of 90 days and $2500 at completion of 180 days. * *Rehires are not eligible for sign on bonus. This position is a 6:00pm to 6:00am rotating schedule.

Requirements

• 1 year industrial maintenance experience and/or industrial maintenance education combined.
• Must have applied mechanical ability documented in the work history section of the application or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
• Willingness and ability to lift and carry 50 pounds or more.
• Ability to walk or stand on hard floors for 8-12 hour days.
• Ability to regularly stand, stoop, climb ladders, change work levels, twist, squat, climb stairs, reach, push, pull, and move about the facility.
• Ability to work in a cold, damp to hot environment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Perform duties such as welding, cutting, electrical repair and troubleshooting.
• Removing and replacing motor shafts, couplings, pumps, augers, water pipes, valves, lines, and systems.
• Reading and understanding assignments.
• Communicating orally and in writing.
• Using basic knowledge of math and various electrical and pneumatic power tools and equipment.
• Reading drawings and schematics of hydraulic and basic electrical systems.
• Completing all required training for the job.
