Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Understanding of mechanical systems
• Mechanical and spatial aptitude
• Good math and writing skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and fluid systems as well as proper lubrication procedures with oil and grease

Nice To Haves

• Welding certification preferred
• Backflow prevention certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintenance of the plant's high-speed production equipment that makes our industry-leading nutrition products
• Non-repetitive mechanical repairs and troubleshooting
• Mechanical fluid and utility system troubleshooting
• Fabrication, machining and welding
• Installation or rearrangement of equipment
• Completion of work documentation
• Meeting compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures
