This job posting is for 1st shift with a rotational work schedule of 3 - 12 hours days 1 week and 4 - 12 hours days the next week. The work hours are generally 12 hours a day and the shift starts at 6:00 a.m. The starting base rate of pay is $25.40/hour. Starting pay can be higher based on experience. This position is also eligible for overtime pay. Team members must be willing to work overtime, weekends, and some holidays, as needed.

Requirements

• At least one (1) year of mechanic work experience with one or a combination of employers or be a graduate of an industrial maintenance training program.
• At least six (6) months of continuous employment with one employer in the past two (2) years.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment.
• Keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production.
• Repairing and maintaining the operating conditions of the machinery and equipment.
• Troubleshooting problems that occur in the day-to-day operation of the facility.
• Performing work involving hydraulics, pneumatic, electrical, and mechanics in general, as well as some welding.
• Setting up, adjusting, and breaking down production line machinery and completing daily documentation as required.
• Complying with all company and USDA policies/guidelines and reporting known or suspected violations.
• Attending monthly and annual required training (e.g., Safety, HACCP, HR topics, LOTO, PIT).
• Using basic computer skills to navigate systems, perform data entry, and complete training.
• Reading manuals to repair equipment safely and following all safety protocols.
• Recording information using company-provided forms and procedures.
• Working professionally and respectfully with others while demonstrating positive interpersonal skills.
• Communicating effectively with all team members and management.
• Demonstrating strong attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness.
