An Industrial Maintenance Instructor teaches students how to install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery and systems used in manufacturing and industrial environments. They combine classroom teaching with hands-on lab instruction covering mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and automation concepts. This is a full-time, 176-day instructional position with an opportunity for a continuing contract status that is contingent upon Board approval and funding. Teaching assignments may include variable hours at various sites, including days, evenings, and/or weekends. Teaching assignments may include variable modes of instruction including face-to-face, hybrid, and online classes. There may be opportunity to teach during the summer semester.
