About The Position

For over 100 years, Maguire has been an industry leader in the fabrication, construction, and maintenance of water storage tanks and elevated water towers. The Industrial Maintenance Crew Member will be assisting the Foreman and crew with inspections, clean outs and repairs of various style water towers. This person shall be trained in the proper use of all safety equipment for all different job tasks. This person will be responsible for safety, quality and production standards and goals.

Requirements

• Ability to accept responsibility and account for own actions
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in written form
• Dependable and trustworthy
• The ideal candidate must have working knowledge of all job specific operating procedures
• Be extremely quality conscious and detail oriented
• Have a minimum of three years sandblasting and painting experience
• Have one to two years of safety experience
• Accept responsibility and account for own actions
• Have the ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Be able to build solid relationships with internal and external customers
• Be dependable and trustworthy
• Have basic computer skills

Responsibilities

• 100% tie-off when working on water tower.
• Assist in unloading equipment/rigging from maintenance rig.
• Operate/understand all rigging procedures.
• Document and inspect personal safety equipment daily.
• Document and inspect rigging equipment daily.
• Responsible for completing own time card.
• Assist in cleanup of job site daily and at the end of the project.
• Communicate with foreman on tasks to be done and game plan for the day.
• Other duties as assigned.
