About The Position

Join Our Fort Wayne, IN Team We’re looking for an Industrial Maintenance & Automation Specialist who takes pride in uptime, precision, and safe work. You’ll be central to the reliability of our production assets and facility systems. What You’ll Do Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting for production machinery, material handling equipment, and facility infrastructure. Execute preventive and predictive maintenance to curb unplanned downtime. Diagnose and repair issues involving hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, bearings, conveyors, PLC-driven equipment, and automation components. Read, interpret, and apply schematics, blueprints, and equipment manuals. Complete work orders in the CMMS, thoroughly document repairs, and provide timely updates to supervisors. Support new equipment installations, machine changeovers, and continuous improvement efforts. Uphold safety standards, including strict adherence to lockout/tagout procedures. Requirements

  • Proven PLC troubleshooting skills; experience with PLC programming and PLC wiring.
  • Heavy equipment repair capabilities; strong maintenance and repair skills.
  • Mechanical troubleshooting skills across motors, bearings, conveyors, and assemblies.
  • Electrical troubleshooting and electrical repair proficiency in industrial settings.
  • Hands-on familiarity with 120/208/240/480 voltage systems and other high voltage systems.
  • Pneumatics troubleshooting and hydraulics experience.
  • Boiler troubleshooting know-how.
  • Industrial electrical experience with schematics and technical documentation.
