About The Position

This position is responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing all equipment and company assets while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. Applicants will be considered for any industrial maintenance opening on any shift, such as day, night or overnight shift as well as overtime and weekends if required. Industrial Maintenance positions are responsible for keeping machinery running to maintain continuous production. You must be able to set up, adjust and break down production line machinery. Must be able to learn Tyson SAP software to perform preventative maintenance routines as scheduled by Supervisor as well as confirm time into the SAP system to record daily activities and create equipment history. Must have the ability to work independently. Must be able to read and write where required. Must be able to use math as needed to make work related computations for machinery, fluid capacities, etc. Must be able to lift up to 70 lbs. on a daily basis and be able to work on your feet for a period of up to 12 hours. Must be willing to complete all required training for the job. Requirements

  • At least 1 year experience in mechanical troubleshooting, electrical/electronic troubleshooting, hydraulic troubleshooting, PLC troubleshooting and navigation, welding/fabrication, AC/DC control wiring, motor control, 3-phase wiring, plumbing, conveyor maintenance, hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and reading and understanding blueprints.
  • Three months of continuous work history with the same employer within the last twelve months.
  • Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. on a daily basis.
  • Ability to work on your feet for a period of up to 12 hours.
  • Must be willing to complete all required training for the job.
