The Industrial Machine Technician will be responsible for performing day-to-to-maintenance on all plant equipment including electrical, mechanical and pneumatics tasks as necessary. Maintain all equipment for all manufacturing operations and warehouse.

Requirements

Education: Required: High School Diploma or equivalent, Bilingual English and Spanish with the ability to read and write in both languages.
Experience: Required: Three years' experience in Industrial Maintenance, with automated sewing machines, or industrial mechatronics.
Skills: Required: Must be able to read, write, and speak both English and Spanish.
Must have experience and interest in mechanics and robotic controls and have the ability to work on multiple types of machines.
Superior communication and organizational skills.
Special Requirements : Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Nice To Haves

Preferred: Journeyman Electrician or equivalent or advanced education in Industrial Mechatronics.
Preferred: Five plus years' experience in Industrial Maintenance, with automated sewing machines, or industrial mechatronics.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions.
Obtain/complete maintenance work order.
Respond to emergencies identified by the shop and plant alarm system and/or physical plant supervisor.
Perform miscellaneous duties deemed necessary to run the business.
Repair and service all sewing and cutting equipment.
Update and follow preventive maintenance schedules on equipment and keep logs updated.
Maintain an inventory of spare parts and establish a reorder point.
Assist in development of new workflows and work centers.
Must be able to work well within a team environment and without direct supervision.
Provide maintenance to forklift, air compressors and any other plant equipment.
Maintain preventive maintenance program with all maintenance done up to date.
