About The Position

Hanes Supply offers a comprehensive and diverse product line to its customers including: rigging, fall protection, power tools, fasteners, hand tools, construction and safety equipment. Headquartered in Buffalo, NY, Hanes Supply has six other branches in the United States. As an Industrial Machine Operator, you will operate or tend sewing machines to join, reinforce, decorate, or perform related sewing operations. This position requires adherence to all safety procedures, rules, and regulations while performing job duties. You will measure, cut, and sew nylon and synthetic materials according to work orders and customer specifications, including special orders. Additionally, you will assemble slings to meet work order and customer requirements, evaluate and inspect the quality of finished products, and record work completion for all processed work orders. Monitoring machine operation to detect problems such as defective stitching or machine malfunctions is also a key responsibility. You will perform equipment maintenance tasks, assist in the warehouse when necessary, and ensure that all operations are conducted in a safe and efficient manner.
