Industrial Lift Truck Service Technician (LPG & Diesel)

OEG Building MaterialsSayreville, NJ

About The Position

OEG Building Materials, a steel manufacturing company, is looking for a hands-on technician who knows propane and diesel forklifts inside and out. If you thrive in a fast-moving plant, diagnose problems quickly, and take pride in safe, high-quality work, you’ll feel right at home here. Your morning may start with a planned preventive maintenance round—inspecting propane and diesel lift trucks, checking fluids, brakes, steering, and critical safety items. Midday brings a call from production: a truck is down on the floor. You arrive, quickly troubleshoot electrical or hydraulic issues, and get the unit back online to minimize downtime. In the afternoon, you might pull a transmission, swap worn components, or document work performed with precise service notes. Throughout, you communicate clearly with your manager about repair priorities and parts needs while following OSHA and company safety protocols.
