About The Position

We are experts in drawing and finishing high performance stainless steel. We believe the kitchen (and the family table) make up the hub of the home, where everyone belongs. In this role as an Industrial Journeyman Electrician on the 1st shift, you will be responsible for diagnosing, troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing process and production machines, robots, automation equipment, and related electrical equipment. This includes working with electrical control circuits ranging from 24v up to and including 480v AC, as well as electro-mechanical test devices, instrumentation devices, PLCs, ladder logic controllers, and variable frequency drives as necessary. You will be expected to work from and read electrical and electronic schematic drawings, layout, install, and maintain a wide variety of complex electrical equipment, and establish secondary distribution centers while balancing loads and wiring circuits. Your responsibilities will also include completely laying out and/or wiring relocated, new, or rebuilt machines, diagnosing, removing, replacing, and periodically maintaining electrical motors, and interpreting wiring diagrams and program logic diagrams. Familiarity with wiring conventions and electric and electronic symbols is essential. You will also need to install, maintain, and troubleshoot electric distribution equipment, including transformers, circuit protection devices, switchgear, load center panels, and bus duct, as well as electric control equipment such as relay logic panels, programmable controllers, and solid-state control devices. The ability to use test equipment to troubleshoot electrical and control circuits and components is a must. You will perform any other work requested by the Supervisor with minimal supervision.
