Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
On-the-job training provided.
Able to work independently with little supervision.
Forklift experience required.

Specific physical requirements of the position include the ability to continuously and repetitively: Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.

Wear personal protective equipment, for example: safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and steel-toed safety shoes.
Work in a loud manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled (conditions can be hot or cold).
Frequently and repetitively: Bend, lift, push, pull, climb (including ladders and lifts), balance, twist, kneel, crouch, and reach to perform work.
Lift or carry materials weighing up to 50lbs.
Occasionally sit (up to 10%), drive vehicles, and operate equipment.
Recognizes potential exposure to environmental, mechanical, chemical, electrical, and explosive hazards.

Responsibilities

Performs janitorial services to ensure the facility is clean and safe.
Empty and remove trash and recycling.
Clean and stock restrooms throughout facility
Clean and stock breakroom.
Cleans floors around machinery and elsewhere in the facility as assigned.
Maintains inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Replace lightbulbs, fixtures, and/or minor repairs as needed
Clean overhead mirrors and lighting.
Perform general painting of machinery and/or building as needed.
Operate floor sweeper
Work safely with cleaning chemicals and supplies wearing proper Personal Protective Equipment.
Work cooperatively with others in a team environment.
Complete tasks within designated timeframes to meet cleaning schedules.
Learn new tasks and adapt to frequent job duty changes.
Meet cleaning schedule targets on a daily basis.
Properly dispose of waste chemicals and materials.
Work safely around and/or while operating heaving equipment or manufacturing machinery.
Work overtime hours as required by business and manpower needs with little notice.
Regularly report for work on time with a desire of performing to the best of your abilities.
Comply with all company employment policies, procedures/processes, and programs.
Performs duties in compliance quality, as well as safety policies, procedures/processes, and programs.
Communicate problem in areas such as faulty equipment, leaking hydraulic hoses, water lines, etc. to supervisors.
