About The Position
The position involves conducting surveys to identify and evaluate potential health hazards, preparing written reports of health hazard assessments, performing respirator fit testing, maintaining records of equipment maintenance and calibration, and entering data into the Defense Occupational and Environmental Health Reporting System (DOEHRS-IH) database. The role also includes coordinating and conducting regular inspections of work areas to ensure compliance with safety practices and serving as a point of contact for external organizations providing industrial hygienist services. Additionally, the incumbent will maintain accountability of assigned equipment.
