ELOS Environmental is looking for a qualified and experienced Industrial Hygiene (IH) Project Manager. You will oversee and coordinate Industrial Hygiene projects and assist the Program Manager with all technical functions of the department. This position includes but is not limited to project scoping, assistance with department growth, project team consulting and assistance, assistance with technical program development, preparing Remediation Protocols for lead, asbestos, and mold remediation projects, general project management, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local safety laws, regulations, codes, and rules globally, liaises between company, site teams, and regulatory agencies.

  • Oversee and coordinate Industrial Hygiene projects
  • Understand and maintain compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations
  • Strive for improvement with an ultimate goal of achieving industry best practices
  • Supervising, mentoring, and developing IH professionals within the organization.
  • Preparing Remediation Protocols for lead, asbestos, and mold remediation projects.
  • Work collaboratively and communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Analyze and evaluate data to direct and produce required documentation and submittals.
  • Providing technical expertise and timely information to the Program Lead on the ongoing performance of work-related health risk management programs and survey/sampling outcomes
  • Providing advice to Program Lead on strategic decisions associated with new and evolving federal, state, and local legislation and Company/industry standards and practices.
  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial Hygiene, Health & Safety, Natural Science, Toxicology, Chemistry, or other related technical disciplines
  • 5+ years of experience working in Industrial Hygiene
  • Lead Supervisor and/or Asbestos Management Planner License
  • Experience directing businesses in good practices managing occupational health risks, employee health and wellness programs, occupational health risk management, and building business cases for health and safety programs.
  • Experience in managing industrial hygiene regulations as they apply to the workplace.
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in designated areas (respirator, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, heeled boots and hearing protection)
