Requirements

  • Completion of at least 2 years of full-time enrollment at an accredited four-year college or university and pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, or a related field
  • GPA of 3.2 or higher
  • Must be currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited four-year college or university
  • Basic knowledge of project management processes and tools
  • Basic knowledge of EH&S regulations, workplace hazards, and safety standards
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to conduct thorough inspections and audits
  • Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, and collaboration skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to write and communicate technical information clearly and concisely
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Ability to apply principles of logical or scientific thinking to a wide range of intellectual and practical problems
  • Must have working-level knowledge of the English language, including reading, writing, and speaking English
  • Alignment to Panasonic's seven core principles

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and evaluation of EH&S policies and procedures
  • Support the creation and delivery of EH&S training programs for employees
  • Contribute to safety campaigns, events, and awareness programs to promote a strong safety culture
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities, equipment, and processes to ensure compliance with EH&S regulations
  • Identify workplace hazards and recommend appropriate control measures
  • Participate in incident investigations, including data collection, analysis, and root cause identification
  • Compile and analyze EH&S data, prepare reports, and present findings to management
  • Stay up to date with EH&S regulations, permits, and records to maintain compliance
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate EH&S requirements into daily operations
  • Communicate technical information clearly and concisely in written and verbal formats
