About The Position

As an Industrial Hygiene intern, you will directly help maintain a safe and healthful work environment and mitigating industrial hygiene impacts. You will report to the Global Industrial Hygiene Program Manager and be located at our Cranberry location. This is a paid, full-time remote summer position.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in environmental health & safety, industrial hygiene or similar
• Completed occupational safety, environmental or industrial hygiene coursework is required
• Reliable transportation for commuting to and from work locations (<50 miles)
• Minimum GPA of 3.0
• Complete sophomore year of college
• US Citizen or Permanent Resident
• No relocation assistance provided

Responsibilities

• Help develop and implement industrial hygiene standards and programs
• Participate in EHS team meetings by presenting on industrial hygiene topics and project progress
• Conduct hazard assessments and make recommendations for mitigations
• Inspect and evaluate workplace environments, equipment, and practices for regulatory compliance
• Participate in potential exposure investigations to identify causes and corrective actions
• Work as part of an inspection or audit team
• Develop safety briefs, training materials and provide training to improve EHS knowledge
• Analyze data, suggest corrective actions, develop reports
