About The Position
Industrial Hygiene/Environmental Project Manager GLE is looking for an Industrial Hygiene/Environmental Project Manager in our Tampa office to join our growing team. Job Description: Perform asbestos inspections. bulk sampling, and air monitoring Mold investigations Lead-based paint projects Perform Phase I/II ESA’s, UST Closure Assessments and Site Assessments and general field sampling (soil and ground water) in accordance with FDEP SOP’s. Project management Prepare reports and proposals Budget management and close interaction with clients
Requirements
- BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics or Industrial Hygiene/Safety
- 0-3 year minimum experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning and reporting
- Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) are required along with strong work ethic, reliability and the ability to provide unsurpassed customer response and satisfaction
- Valid driver’s license as field work and site travel is involved; candidate will be responsible for transportation
Nice To Haves
- Asbestos certifications preferred (Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor and NIOSH)
- Experience performing asbestos inspections in numerous and varied situations/locations (NESHAP, AHERA) is a plus
- Experience with mold assessments and IH services in general is a plus
- Experience with lead-based paint projects preferred
- Current asbestos certifications is a plus
- Possibility of working nights and weekends is required
