A motivated and skilled Industrial Field Technician is sought to join the team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and maintenance of industrial control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and instrumentation. This role requires a strong understanding of electrical, mechanical, and programming principles, as well as the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced field environment.

  • Perform installation, configuration, and testing of industrial control systems.
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, and software-related issues in automated systems.
  • Interpret wiring schematics, technical manuals, and diagrams for installation.
  • Collaborate with engineers, programmers, and other technicians to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Document all service activities, troubleshooting procedures, and system configurations accurately and on time.
  • Provide clear and effective communication with clients regarding service status and resolutions.
  • Ensure strict adherence to safety procedures, including Lockout/Tagout.
  • Be available for travel to project sites as needed.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field preferred.
  • 2-5 years of experience in industrial instrumentation and control systems.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
  • Experience with HMI/SCADA software and programming tools.
  • Familiarity with VFDs.
  • In-depth understanding of electrical systems, including power distribution, control circuits, and instrumentation.
  • Knowledge of industrial networks and communication protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Modbus).
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical documentation, including blueprints, wiring schematics, and diagrams.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
  • Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Willingness to travel to client sites as required.
