This position will report to VP of Commercial. POSITION SUMMARY: The Industrial Fabrics Sales Director will be responsible for driving profitable growth in line with the strategic and operating plans of the Industrial Fabrics business unit. This position will lead the Industrial Fabrics sales organization directly while working cross functionally with product management, marketing and operations to achieve both annual results and longer-term strategic goals. The role will strongly contribute to both financial and strategic plans, be accountable for forecasting demand, report updates regularly to senior leadership and demonstrate a clear ability to lead and mentor an evolving sales organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Overseeing the efforts of the Industrial Fabrics sales organization to cultivate a market-focused sales approach; driving profitable business growth in line with or exceeding business unit objectives through the development of new and existing customers across both new and existing markets. Defining the go-to-market sales strategy across all target segments, developing and maintaining sales pipelines, and utilizing CRM to enable and measure processes. Conducting sales forecasting activities, developing sales and expense budgets on an annual basis, and monitoring the budgets throughout the year to ensure compliance. Working with the marketing team to develop, coordinate, and revise all sales, marketing, and advertising programs to ensure they meet the requirements of the marketplace and enable sales execution. Staying informed of competition, area growth trends, and market studies to ensure that the Industrial Fabrics business is positioned correctly for sustainable, long-term growth. Participating in key customer, supplier, and other calls and negotiations to cultivate true partnerships. Setting a standard of passion, energy, and integrity across the sales organization while reinforcing the Industrial Fabrics growth strategy and vision. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing or related field; MBA preferred. 15+ years of progressive experience in B2B sales, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven success in developing and executing sales strategies generating incremental growth. Strong understanding of CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce) and sales management tools/processes. Exceptional communication, leadership, and project management skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies. Experience in engineered fabrics or the building materials industry is a plus. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: Responsibility for Industrial Fabrics sales team TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS: Willingness to travel extensively (60-80%) throughout North America with limited international travel as necessary.
