Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering or industrial Technology preferred.
  • One or more years of experience working in a similar work environment.
  • Experience with AutoCAD or Solidworks.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems
  • Effective in time management and delegation.
  • Must be able to read and interpret data, information, and documents
  • Knowledge of manufacturing systems
  • Result driven-demonstrate ownership and accountability.
  • Excellent communication skills—written and verbal.

Responsibilities

  • Participate in multiple engineering & continuous improvement projects and programs.
  • Ensure timely delivery of program results based on goals.
  • Perform the collection of process design, time and motion studies, and engineering data to drive continual improvement initiatives.
  • Assessment and set-up of industrial and manufacturing infrastructure/equipment.
  • Works on process flow updates, layout changes, work instructions, procedures, and similar document control activities.
  • Performs risk assessments to determine what kind of improvements could be made to keep the facility running smoothly and efficiently.
  • Reviews safety and quality standards to ensure the manufacturing environment is properly meeting guidelines.
  • Experience working on complex problems where analysis or data requires evaluation and identifiable factors on matters concerning several functional areas, divisions, and/or customers.
  • Guide the completion of projects and conduct technical tasks and/or set specific technical strategy and direction for self and/or others.
